Hello and welcome to the list of all the things new to the chesswebsite. There is probably a lot that has changed since you last came to the site so look around and see what's new. If you have any suggestions for improvements feel free to drop me an email. I'm always trying to improve the site to make it better for everyone.

- Book Recommendations: One of the biggest request I get is to recommend some great chess books. While there are many that you could read, I have listed 5 that everyone should read if they are serious about improving their chess game.

- Brand New Section: Garry Kasparov vs Deep Blue: Everyone asked for a section of the website dedicated to this epic series so it has been developed. This section will be updated periodically from all the epic games from 1996-1997
- Bobby Fischer's 1st US Championship: Watch commentary of a young Bobby Fischer winning his very first US Championship
- Puzzles Updated Links: On many of the puzzles you were unable to click "try again." This has been fixed so everyone can continue to enjoy the puzzles.

- Lolli Attack - The Lolli Attack is an aggressive opening in the Italian game against the Two Knights defense. White looks to sacrifice an additional pawn for a lethal attack after white castles.

- Chess Puzzles Explained- This video was created to help people learn how to approach chess puzzles and improve their tactical eye.

- Vienna Game- This is a perfect opening for players that enjoy starting with 1. e4. It gives you many different options and is fundamentally sound. All chess players should have this in their back pocket if they are serious about improving their game.

- New DVD Set- After lots of work, I am proud to present a new set of chess dvds. These will include all of the information from the old dvds (videos from the website), but will also include many new dvd exclusive videos for those looking to learn even more. The dvd page is redone so make sure you check it out.

- Botvinnik vs Capablanca Analyzed- In one of the greatest games ever played, Botvinnik puts on a wonderful display of king side control and shows Capablanca the power of the passwed pawn. This is definitely a must see.

- Tal vs Simagin- One of the greatest chess minds of all times, Tal, shows a brilliant display of chess in this game played at the Russian Championships.
