The Candidates Tournament is one of the biggest tournaments of the year with the winner getting the nod to play in the World Championship in November against Magnus Carlsen. This tournament features 8 of the best players in the world that have qualified over the past 2 years. It is a 14 round tournament with each player facing off against each opponent twice.
