The 2018 St. Louis Rapid and Blitz tournament is part of the Grand Chess Tour and takes place right before the Sinquefield Cup in St. Louis, Missouri.
The tournament has all 9 competitors from the Grand Chess Tour as well as one wildcard, GM Leinier Dominguez.
Competitors will face off in 27 rounds of fast chess (rapid and blitz). For rapid they will have 25 minutes on their clock and get 10 seconds for every move they make. In blitz they will have 5 minutes to start and 3 seconds added for each move they make.
