Ivanchuk vs Grischuk

Kevin’s Commentary: Ivanchuck, or Chuk as many people call him, is a very entertaining character and also an extremely talented chess player. Against a very strong opponent in Grischuk, Ivanchuk showed that having the initiative against your opponents king is sometimes all it takes to win a game. White was able to give up early material after 19. Qd3 but only because of the attack that was planned on the king side. When all was said and done, it was the central pawn from white that left black looking for a defense for his king and eventually resigning.
